Pearson are hugely excited to be involved with the junior U19 team of former Paris-Roubaix and Tour de France stage winner Magnus Bäckstedt (Aka Big Maggy). Consisting of four of the arguably top riders in the UK, on or off-road, three are currently involved in the Great Britain Academy programme. The goal of the team is to race a calendar of the biggest races in Europe and give the riders the best platform to progress to the U23/pro ranks.

To support grassroots cycling, Pearson has supplied our latest Pearson MInegoestoeleven road bikes to the riders, and look forward to seeing how the team performs this season on the domestic and continental race scenes. Good luck crew and dig 'em in!

INTRODUCING TEAM BÄCKSTEDT

DYLAN HICKS

Equally at home on the track or on the road, Dylan transfers his wicked kick to the final of many a road race.

HUW BUCK

Mountain biker by trade, Huw goes just as well when the road points upwards and in punchy races.

MATTIE DODD

A rider with a big engine that goes well when the races get hard, Mattie can hold a high power for a long time.

EUAN WOODLIFFE

A great all-round rider with a good record in punchy races, just as capable on the track as he is on a climb.
