HUW BUCK
Huw is currently on the GB Junior MTB Programme. Having only started his road cycling career a couple of years ago, Huw is most at home on his mountain bike. His road career started off with a DNF after his pedal came off mid-race, this only gave him more motivation and determination to continue pushing forward and prove himself.

- 3rd Round 2 and 3 in British Junior XC MTB Series
- 28th World Junior MTB Series (from 8th row start)
- 17th at Cadence Junior RR (Nat Road Series)
- 5th Round 1 National Trophy Cyclocross
Huw's route: "Cracking Snowdonia Loop"
My route is a cracking loop around Snowdonia (at its best on a sunny day). It includes three of the biggest local climbs starting with the well known Marchlyn Mawr which leads you up to the reservoir.
Head back down the way you came and make your way to the foot of Llanberis Pass, the second climb, pedal up and over the pass. Ready your legs and prepare yourself for the third and final climb, Ysbytu Ifan. Finally, you will speed down into Blaenau Ffestiniog and along the coast back home. Good views all around and plenty of local wildlife (sheep) along the route.
