A phrase that apparently has its roots in the days of duelling swordsmen, to cut someone to the quick was to inflict a serious wound to… the fingernails. No, we’re not convinced either; we think it’s better suited to these pared back racing bib shorts, designed to help you carve quick lines as speedily as possible. Based around a slimline TMF x Pearson racing chamois, the shorts have been stripped of extraneous details; there are no storage pockets (replaced with reflective semi-circles) and the one-piece bib strap is made from an extremely lightweight fabric, part of which is recycled (6%). 

The main fabric of the shorts blends durable polyester (78%) with flexible elastane (22%), resulting in a compressive, aerodynamic finish. Four-way stretch allows for maximum range of movement on the bike. To reduce weight further, the shorts feature mesh panels on both the sides and lower legs, a feature that also improves breathability. A bonded leg hem eliminates the need for a silicone gripper, while the right leg features our new Pearson ‘box’ logo. A reflective Pearson rose on the right-rear leg provides additional visibility.
