A lightweight navy waterproof jacket designed for every kind of riding. Made from a highly breathable, 100% recycled nylon fabric, Bryter Layter is named after the album by Nick Drake. Released in 1971, the unusual spelling was very much in keeping with the idiosyncratic nature of Drake’s talent. It’s also a nod to something every cyclist knows – that, however bad the weather, the rain will eventually pass. Until it does, this jacket’s lightweight fabric will keep both wind and rain at bay.
Additional performance elements include taped seams for maximum weather resistance, a high-cut collar to eliminate draughts and a drawstring waist ensuring a close fit. The jacket has articulated sleeves for an excellent range of motion, while elasticated sleeves keep wrists snug.
Highly reflective 3M detailing on the chest and back ensures extra visibility in low light conditions.
When not in use, the jacket folds down into its own chest pocket and is small enough to fit into a rear jersey pocket. A covered zip-housing and soft, comfort panel prevent chafing around the neck.
