Unisex Packable Windproof Gilet Ultra Violet

How language changes over time. ‘Over the top’ was once synonymous with trench warfare but morphed into an expression of excess, the definition of getting carried away. (And, for pub-quizzers, a 1987 arm-wrestling movie starring Sylvester Stallone.) In the reliable hands of Pearson’s product development team, it was the perfect name for this technical cycling gilet. Highly packable, stow it in a jersey pocket and it will be ready for a cool morning or chilly descent. The main fabric is made from Windtex polyester, a garment technology that provides wind-proofing and water-resistance via a breathable membrane. 

Protection and comfort are further enhanced with windproof front panels and mesh panels on the sides and rear. Weighing in at just 154g (medium size), a YKK zip glides effortlessly when riding. Cargo-wise, the gilet has a large pocket on the front to keep you fuelled and alert and reflective dots on the shoulders (to ensure drivers pay attention, too). Additional styling elements include a Pearson rose on the rear and our new ‘box’ logo on the chest. The gilet is available in a neutral ‘Sand’ colourway and also in our exclusive ‘refracted’ print, inspired by street lights and headlights.
