A jersey inspired by tales of the city, not the Netflix mini-series (with apologies to Armistead Maupin), nor in fact, the original chronicler of the big smoke, Samuel Johnson. Our man is Henry James, that big beast of American letters, who so adored London, in all its grimy glory, he described it as “the most possible form of life”. With that in mind, we’ve created a smartly tailored jersey for most forms of city riding, the daily commute and everyday casual wear. The ethically sourced fabric offers all the natural performance of merino. It regulates temperature, is highly breathable and provides excellent moisture transfer. A lightweight, windproof lining protects the chest and abdomen when riding, while robust Cordura® elbow pads ensure the jersey will last when sitting, head in hands, dreaming of the next outing. The concealed rear pocket can be zipped closed for storing valuables or a phone, while Pearson design elements include a central chest band, embroidered signature Pearson logo and a Pearson Rose on the rear pocket.
