This comfortable sweatshirt is named for that most quintessential British question. Quite why we bother asking if somebody fancies a ‘Swift half?’ is anybody’s guess, given it bears so little relation to the outcome. From market traders to city boys, that same, understated confidence – that a slower, second half is inevitable – is reflected in this latest addition to Pearson’s apparel collection. Made from 100% organic cotton, it has a relaxed fit and has been created for your everyday riding life. It is designed to pair with other products in Pearson’s urban riding range, such as the Kick Back Shorts, or our range of equally comfortable t-shirts.
Versatile enough to be worn on and off the bike, the fabric wicks moisture when riding but is lined with brushed-back cotton for maximum comfort. The inside also features an exclusive Swift Half graphic, again the handiwork of designer Rich Hall, this time inspired by the iconic cycling illustrations of the artist Frank Patterson.
Classic sweat-style elements include ribbed cotton on the neck, cuffs and waistband, while some useful functionality comes in the form of a zipped rear pocket. Located inside the pocket is an additional pouch, designed to prevent an Air Pods case, or similar, from rattling around. You can also use it to keep keys from scratching a phone screen.
A casual tailored fit for pedalling, coffee stops and lounge wear for the cyclist.
