Taking its name from the blacksmith’s trade that, in 1860, was the launchpad for our founder, Tom Pearson, Irons in the Fire is a durable, versatile steel machine.
Relaxed ‘all day’ geometry allows a comfortable position suited to both city and gravel riding. Built from double-butted, tig-welded Chromoly steel, it offers unrivalled reliability and strength. A slightly higher front end gives a commanding riding position, for good visibility on the commute and confidence on more challenging surfaces. The lightweight carbon fork can accommodate tyres up to 40mm wide, making the 'Irons' a robust tourer or dependable commuter.
Quick Thoughts… “I love the robust nature of this frameset. It feels like a reliable machine every time you jump on and ride. We’ve adapted this version of the Irons In The Fire, for stress-free commuting or luxurious comfort whilst gravel riding, with plenty of clearance to use larger tyres for grip and added puncture resistance thrown in for added measure. Including mounts for mudguards and a rack, you can limitlessly load up whatever the weather, ready for the days, weeks and even months ahead.” Guy Pearson.
