When the noise and bustle of city life gets too much, riding out into the countryside is the perfect way to create much needed headspace. Tune out by tuning in, to the rhythms of the natural world and sound of tyres on (or off) tarmac. At One With Nature is one of three jerseys created to mark special times on the bike.
Made from a lightweight, merino-polyester blend, the jersey (and rider) benefits from the natural performance properties of merino wool, and the form-fitting durability of a high-quality synthetic. Merino is a fabric that does two, arguably three, jobs at once; it insulates against the cold, wicks moisture to keep the body dry, then releases heat when temperatures rise. It’s also naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant.
The recycled polyester ensures a sleek shape and long product life; Pearson is committed to making 100% of its clothing sustainable by 2022. Soft, comfortable gripper elastic holds the jersey in place at the cuffs and around the waist, while three elasticated rear pockets allow you to carry plentiful supplies.
The inside of the jersey features an exclusive illustration, created for Pearson by graphic designer Richard Hall, whose work appears across the Pearson range. Often characterised by flowing lines, it recognises the easy movement and sense of freedom cycling can bring. If any more motivation were needed, the illustration includes some stirring words from nature writer John Muir.
Other jerseys in the series: Flow State and Sunrise.
