Is it possible to make a jersey that’s lighter than air? Not quite, but our new road race jersey comes close. That’s thanks to the featherweight fabrics and construction, carefully engineered to ensure that while you might feel the burn chasing down a break (see also enjoying a warm-weather club run), you won’t feel the burden of this jersey. The body comprises two separate mesh fabrics, on the upper and lower sections, with an additional mesh used for the sleeves; each comprises a different polyester-elastane blend, positioned for minimum weight and maximum comfort. 

A contrast colour palette complements the pared-back race styling. We’ve also removed the collar, to enhance a minimalist aesthetic that belies clever technical features, including vents in the shoulder seams to allow heat release. The jersey has six ‘gel loops’ on the midriff for easy access to energy gels, an idea first pioneered by ultra-runners. Additional capacity is provided by three mesh pockets on the rear. Reflective details include a Pearson rose, in the (unlikely) event you find yourself at the back of the bunch.
